What is this?

Welcome to the third Artalyst Comment Connect contest, or ACC. The object of this contest is to "connect" 4 squares either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. If you are a subscribing Member, you need only connect 3 squares.

How do I gain a square?

There are currently several images on the site which have no comments on them. This grid has one of those images randomly generated under each square. If you happen to comment on that image, you gain that square. To help you out, below the grid is a random list of images which contain no comments.

What do I win?

If the the total word count for the 3 (or 4) most in-depth comments that are connected is greater than 50 (signatures not included), then you will win the prize shown above. And we will ship it to you for free.

What are the rules again?

• You must comment on an image in the gallery with no previous comments for a chance to gain a square.
• You must connect 4 squares horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. (Subscribing members need only 3 squares. You must be a member prior to making the 3 connecting squares to qualify.)
• The comments on the images that make the connection must have a total word count greater than 50 to win.
• Any one who has won a prize at Artalyst within the last 45 days at the beginning of the contest is not eligible to win.
• Only the first 20 comments on images in a 24 hour period will count in the contest. You may comment more, but only the first 20 will be eligible. The 24 hour period for this contest will reset at 2am EST. That's 2am for USA east coast, midnight for USA west coast and 8am for London England. Check the World Clock Converter to determine the time at your location.
• The random images below the ACC grid are pooled from all images on the site which have zero comments and may not necessarily be one of the images on the grid. It is just a tool to help you find images that have no comments.

BONUS!

The ACC-bot in the Chat Room will be randomly revealing some of the images hidden under the squares in the grid. The first person to comment on that image will gain that square.

What happens when someone wins?

This contest will end and another contest will be started at a later time.
