This is a wonderful idea and well executed. The colors and composition are excellent. I do find myself wishing that the foremost part of the petal was in focus though.
I like this image, but sharpness is a problem.
Mac, you have a wonderful talent for composition. As the others have said, just need to get that sharpness in the rose petal.
